  1. A UI that looks like 10 year old, thermal throttling, $1000+ price, little to no software update, this phone is hard to recommend. Sony just doesn't get the game in the phone industry. I would get a mid range phone and use the remaining budget to get a DSLR camera. This phone isn't worth it for only camera.

  2. Why do they ALWAYS launch these months after these videos start coming?! I’d buy it now if it wasn’t coming in September in the US. By that time it’s outdated spec wise.

  3. Can't imagined how rare having a SD Card slot would be now a days..and here i am watching a smartphone i can't afford ahaha..anyways..Sony is doing great with its latest xperia models..the review is greats as well..especially the audio part..

  4. The best just keeps on getting better. Since LG has left the smartphone market, Sony 8s the only sensible brand daring enough not to catch on the trend and be different and I totally love that.

  5. I love the cameras on this phone. While images from Samsung and Apple cameras are more appealing, there's something about natural colors that just appeals to me a lot.

  6. Soon I think the screens will be 8k. I think maybe it will become mid-range at the end of the year, although if it is a good team I feel that it is very expensive for various parts of the world

  7. It is hard to find a similar premium smartphone that still keeps a 3.5mm headphone jack, expandable memory slot, tool less sim-card tray, IP68 rating, good camera system and app, 4k OLED 120hz refresh rate other than Sony now.

If only they had bumped the battery to at least 6000mAh battery, this would be a perfect phone.

(Or Sony can release a hard battery case like what Apple does for it's iphone series)

  8. Hey you good person can you please gift me an iPhone se 2 or Google pixel phone because in my country Google phone is not available and I am not that rich that I can buy this phones instead of Samsung phone less than 100$ phone

  9. All other videos about the phone I saw said it is a PREPRODUCTION MODEL and therefore the optimization isn't final. I never heard you say it, and moreover, you made a full-fledged review on it (which isn't really relevant if it's really a PREPRODUCTION MODEL, isn't it?). Are we to assume that somehow you got the final PRODUCTION MODEL?
