  1. its not just samsung. I had an old kyocera phone from 2009 that I had just sitting around for years and the battery on it swelled up. I never knew why cause I haven't even used that phone since 2010

  2. this is so annoying. every single phone is subject to this. guarantee Samsung has sent y'all creators way more phones to collect dust than apple. anything using a battery like this and letting it sit there forever. you ever seen a old AA battery? all puffed and jacked up.

on a side note Samsung had that battery problem with their note 7 or whatever so they put a crap ton of new safety mechanisms within the battery. meanwhile the iPhone does nothing but take things away. like the sim slot. hopefully apples software never has hiccups,. now your service depends on it

  3. Charge the device to approximately 50~70% for long-term storage.

Charge the device once every 3~6 months.

Store in cool, non-humid environments to help preserve battery performance.

  4. Why only samsung phones? Are the batteries not the same as other phones? Im just curious if all were placed in the same storage, same room temp, same conditions, why?

  5. yes lets buy a new phone each year because they are made like shit and we are retarded enough to buy same phone over and over
