Playlist of MKBHD Intro music:

  1. So granted, that watch looks pretty decent, but MAN is that another STRAIGHT ripoff of Apple Watch. The Interface looks fucking identical, the Crown looks like a 1-1 direct copy from Apple. Damn Google. Not cool.

  2. Man I’m the Google rep for my store I work for AT&T and I’m super excited about the new watch ! Definitely gonna be interesting

  3. This is basically google going one up on the leakers (read JON PROSSER). Now nobody can leak anything since google themselves leaked everything up to 2023. Maybe apple can learn from google because they can't stop the leaks either.

  4. Pixel-head that I am, I'm looking forward to the 7 and watch. Will be going for the Pro version this time and the cellar Watch, if it's available.

Did I see that the Pixel 7 and Watch might be released at the same time?
Are they going to be released as a package?

Previously, Google have added a free set of Bose Bluetooth headphones with pre orders of the Pixel 5 and 6 (headphones take weeks to be delivered). Might they do a similar offer with the 7 pre orders?

A note on the all-glass cover:
Not a fan. It looks all the more breakable. Or at least crackable.
I have the 6 (already with a cracked screen) and it has a good rugged case and screen protector. I hate that I have to do this to my phones, but they just too fragile and I am a clumsy oaf.

I would dearly love to be able to have the phone "naked". Have tried with the 6 but it's really slippery! With all that glass there is minimal friction.
Does anyone else have this issue?

  5. I am excited for the Pixel watch, though damn! I didn't notice how thick the bezels were until you pointed it out! I'll still hold off on purchasing a smartwatch until the Pixel is released, which at that point I'll likely choose between that or the latest Tick Watch Pro.

  6. Good that they are bringing the watch, still hard to move to Google until Google Photos are encrypted at rest. But that's not going to happen. The photos are stored in a public folder and are accessible to anyone not just the owner as long as you have link to the source (not sharing link that Google provides to share, but link to actual file). Insane.
