The expanded Fire TV line-up includes more QLED models and budget 2 Series sets.

In a nutshell: Amazon has expanded its Fire TV Omni QLED Series TV lineup with three new sizes and is launching a new budget TV family starting at $199.99. Amazon said the new sizes will allow customers to enjoy the Ambient Experience feature anywhere in the home.
The Fire TV Omni QLED series will soon be available in 43″, 50″, and 55″ screen sizes, as well as 65″ and 75″ variants already in the lineup. Models in this line feature full array local dimming up to 96 zones and support Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ adaptive display technologies.
For the uninitiated, Ambient Experience uses built-in presence sensors to detect when a person enters a room and triggers Alexa to display the information. Users can also use Alexa through the dial to control smart devices such as video doorbells or connected thermostats.
The e-commerce giant also revealed its new Fire TV 2nd series. These entry-level models are available in 32″ and 40″ sizes and are limited to HD resolution (720p for the smaller set and 1080p for the larger). Although these are budget models, they include some conveniences such as support for HDR 10, HLG, and Dolby Digital Audio, and also come with a Fire TV Alexa voice remote control.
Daniel Rausch, Vice President, Entertainment Devices and Services, Amazon marked To date, the company has sold more than 200 million Fire TV streaming players and smart TVs. The new sets will also reportedly arrive in the UK, Germany and Mexico for the first time.
The new Fire TV Omni QLED sets are available for pre-order today and will go on sale May 11 at Best Buy stores and online. The price is set at $449.99 for 43″ model, $529.99 for the 50″ version and $599.99 for 55 inch. Surprisingly, 65 inch The Omni QLED is currently retailing for $599.99, with the 75-inch one priced at $1099.99.
