In the mirror: Are you reading this post right now? Yes? Are you sure? Because if the signs that are popping up all over Seattle, Washington are to be believed, the internet is ending today. I know I just posted this article online, maybe they mean it ends at midnight?
It’s a little difficult to imagine what the world would be like without the Internet, especially for those who are young enough (not me) not to know what it was like in the late 1980s and early 90s. There are adult adults now who know what an encyclopedia is just because they read about it on the Internet or think you meant Wikipedia. Even those who remember those times could hardly do without some kind of connection to the World Wide Web.
Seattle has over 45,000 Amazon employees whose jobs are powered by the Internet. Therefore, for some of them it may have come as a surprise when signs around Seattle appeared with the words “12022021 END OF INTERNET”. Hmmm, 12/02/2021?
Damn it! I just got it hang Bwaahaha ha ha Asta Lavista baby

Gael Faschingbauer Cooper of CNET, who lives in the Seattle area, is the first noticed ominous prediction on the sign of a sushi restaurant. His poster had previously written: “Closed Monday.” She snapped a picture of the letter board, thinking it was funny and unique, but found that people had seen the message all over Seattle.
Several replies to Cooper’s tweet have featured the same warning on various street signs and business posters throughout the city. Particularly interesting appears on the signpost for overpass N 80th Avenue. This one was made to look like an official WDOT marker – professionally printed on metal and bolted just like the other insignia.
INBOX: “I’ve found that the end of the internet is either:
1) On overpass N 80th prospect, or
2) Will occur on December 2, 2021.
Big news anyway. ” pic.twitter.com/PKXlNam0Cl

This is reminiscent of the 2012 panic in the Mayan calendar. As you remember, the end of the world was supposed to come on December 21, 2012 (12212012). What is the charm of the number sequences of zeros, ones and twos? The world may never know, although this particular mystery was solved Thursday at 2 p.m. PST.
The end of the internet: either .. 1) Somewhere in Seattle, Washington, or 2) Will happen on December 2, 2021 👀 pic.twitter.com/u0Zcj8Kvbv

There was a timer counting down to 14:00 on December 2. So, 14:00 came and passed, and presumably at the appointed time, the site owner posted the video. plugging “Novel Against Cyberpunk” titled “Assassins at the Edge of the Internet.” Of course, the cryptic characters were posted by author De Dee Shields or his associates as viral marketing for the book.
So there is nothing to worry about. Your scrolling of destiny won’t be interrupted anytime soon. This is if you don’t want read a sci-fi book about the Seattle of the future that actually sounds pretty interesting.
