Samsung to host second Galaxy Unpacked event on October 20

What happened now? Apple and Google won’t be the only tech giants to have a new product unveiled next week. Earlier today, Samsung announced plans to host its second Galaxy Unpacked event on October 19. But what can we expect?

Samsung posted its first event of the Galaxy Unpacked season back in August, when the company announced the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, the new Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Buds2 models.

The South Korean tech titan was not very well aware of what viewers could expect next week, only that we would see Samsung “open up new possibilities for expressing ourselves through technology.”

With the Galaxy Note series seemingly delayed, Samsung could use the event to unveil a more affordable version of the Galaxy S21 called the S21 FE. Others speculate that Sammy could focus on software and services during the event – an area the company reportedly was interested in exploring further.

All we know for sure at this point is that Unpacked part 2 will be broadcast Samsung YouTube Channel beginning at 10 o’clock Easter on October 20.

Next week is going to be a busy week in the tech world. Apple has scheduled its next event for October 18th, where many expected to see the new M1X-based Macs launch. A day later, Google will be holding a Pixel 6 hardware event where we finally get the missing piece on the company’s next smartphone. Then, of course, the Samsung event will happen the next day.
