PAX organizer ReedPop will be hosting E3 2023 in Los Angeles next June.

What happened now? E3 2023 will be back live next summer – we’ve known about it for a long time. This week, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) revealed new details about the event scheduled for the second week of June 2023.

ECA cooperates with ReedPop at E3 2023. As you may know, ReedPop is a veteran event company behind other major shows including Star Wars Celebration, PAX events and New York Comic Con.

“With the support and endorsement of the ESA, we are about to create a world-class event to serve the global gaming industry in new and broader ways than we already do at ReedPop through our portfolio of world-leading events and websites,” said ReedPop President Lance Fensterman.

Kyle Marsden-Kish, the company’s global vice president of games, said E3 2023 will be a return to form that will celebrate what has always worked and change what hasn’t, and set a new benchmark for future video game showcases.

E3 was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. An online version of E3 was held last summer, but many were disappointed by its efforts. The ESA has again decided to cancel E3 entirely for 2022 due to Omicron’s Covid-19 variant.

Stanley Pierre-Louis, President and CEO of ESA, said the past three years have proven that E3 is bringing the gaming industry together like no other event. “ReedPop brings world-class talent and a deep understanding of the video game industry that will enhance the E3 experience for years to come,” added Pierre-Louis.

The secure media registration process will begin at the end of 2022. The list of confirmed exhibitors, event schedule, hotel and tourist guides, etc. will be published in the coming months in press releases and on the official E3 website.

E3 isn’t the only show to return next year. Blizzard boss Mike Ybarra recently stated that they are committed to return of Blizzcon in 2023. Like E3, BlizzCon did not take place in 2020 and went virtual in 2021 before being put on hold again this year.
