In comparison, the second-largest company, Adata Technology, generated revenues of $ 540 million, taking only 3.19% of the market. The Taiwanese company’s DRAM revenue grew 47% YoY thanks to its move to WFH, distance learning, and the gaming segment. But the biggest annual growth was not seen; the honor went to Shenzhen-based Kimtigo, whose modular business grew 50%, moving up from sixth to fourth.

Smart Modular Technologies is the only company in the top ten to see a decline in revenue. TrendForce attributed the -7.10% y / y decline to the fact that it sells most of its products to the US and South American countries such as Brazil, which have been hit hardest by the pandemic.
