Gran Turismo 7 Version 1.11 Addresses Fan Annoyance Over Weakened Progression

In a nutshell: Polyphony Digital has finally released an update that fixes the Gran Turismo 7 rebalance it did last month. Update 1.11 rolled out Friday, bringing increased end-game World Circuit race rewards, tweaked arcade and custom event rewards, and more.

patch was a response to the Gran Turismo 7 March update, which made players nervous about the weakening of rewards for certain races. Fans viewed this as extortion, as many weren’t thrilled about being forced to choose to spend 20 hours (on average) polishing a legendary car or buying hundreds of dollars worth of in-game credits to fill their liveries with expensive exotics.

The move forced players to review the game’s review on Metacritic and find a way to earn credits while in AFK. Later, Sony and Polyphony apologized and gave everyone a million credits. Game director Kazunori Yamauchi, the father of Gran Turismo, has promised that an update will be released in early April that will change the progression system.

In addition to increasing the amount of rewards in certain races, the patch also increases the upper limit of free game credits to 100,000,000. It was previously 20,000,000. Credit rewards for lobby and daily races have also increased.

Version 1.11 not only changed the progress. It also came with new content. He added a new race called “The Human Comedy”, an hour-long endurance race with a prize pool of up to 1,200,000 credits per event. The pre-race screen now contains more information. He added new inventory to the car parks and fixed a lot of bugs.

There will be even more polyphony in future updates, including an increase in the number of rewards, eight new endurance races, an increase in the number of used and legendary cars, live service reward adjustments, the addition of 24-hour endurance races, and much more. Probably the most welcome change in a future update is the ability to sell junk cars. You can view the full changelog on the Gran Turismo page. Web site.
