GPU maker 51RISC strangely joins fight against GPU slack

WTF?! There is a sensitive topic that many do not want to talk about. It’s embarrassing, makes some people feel ashamed of their equipment, and it’s hard to find a direct answer as to why this is happening. This affects a large percentage of PC owners, many of whom suffer silently for fear of being embarrassed. That’s right, we’re talking about GPU drawdown.

It’s no secret to anyone that AliExpress. So, if you’re looking for the latest graphics hardware, especially one that provides an integrated solution to combat GPU slack, then you’re in luck.

Many modern video cards come with supports, reinforcements, and even leashes to make sure they don’t come off their PCIe slots. Not to be outdone, GPU manufacturer 51RISC has released its own version of Nvidia’s flagship RTX 4090. But it lacks gimmicks like RGB brackets or cable ties; it comes with a built-in spirit level.

But what if the problem isn’t with the GPU?

The overall design of the card is no different from other RTX 4090 offerings, and in some ways even more attractive. The card itself is a 3-slot device that is slightly smaller than some of the 3.5- and 4-slot solutions from Nvidia and their expansion board (AIB) partners. The shroud and back panel have a futuristic olive gray design that works well with black fans and other accents. In terms of performance, the card uses the same PCB configuration as many other RTX 4090s, is powered by a 12-pin + 4-pin header, and has a Thermal Design Power (TDP) limit of 450W.

The real draw is on the open side of the map, where there are not one but two spirit levels to ensure the map is straight. Seen in workshops and construction sites around the world, these tried and tested levels ensure you know if your map is level. They won’t help fix it; they will just let you know.

If you find that the card is sagging or crooked after installation, it raises more questions. Is the card, table, floor, or building out of alignment? Those who aren’t sure can probably just take the card back out of their system and use a spirit level to check those things as well.
