Google announces Pixel 7 series ahead of October 6th launch

What happened now? The next-gen Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones won’t be ready for prime time until next month, but that doesn’t stop Google from sharing information about them early on to give potential iPhone 14 buyers food for thought.
Both phones already have public product page in the Google Store along with several teaser photos and product visualization videos. Based on the photos alone, the rear camera array looks to be practically flush with the rest of the back. However, the video shows that this is not the case, as the camera strip is noticeably raised, like a mini-plateau.
Speaking of the rear camera array, the standard Pixel 7 comes with dual camera lenses as well as an LED flash and a tiny microphone hole. The Pro model has a third camera, although the specifications of each are not yet known.
We know that both models will be powered by Google’s own 2nd generation Tensor processor. We were told that Google Tensor G2 would provide useful and personalized features for photos, videos, speech recognition, and security.
Other shortcut features mentioned by Google on the preview page include quick pairing with other devices such as headphones and watches, as well as support for Find My Device, which helps find lost devices. They will come in three colorways: Obsidian, Lemongrass and Snow for the Pixel 7 and Obsidian, Walnut and Snow for the Pixel 7 Pro. Both will ship with Android 13 out of the box.
Everything converges.
