Deathloop topped the 2021 Game Awards nomination with eight

In short: The 2021 Game Awards will be streaming live in just 22 days, which is enough time to cast your votes across a wide range of categories. Among the leaders who received the award were Deathloop with eight nominations, followed by Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart with six nominations. Requires Two from Hazelight Studios has been nominated for five awards, as has Double Fine’s Psychonauts 2 platformer.

Other nominations include Resident Evil Village with four nominations, and Returnal and Forza Horizon 5 with three each.

The 2021 Game Awards will take place on December 9 and will be hosted by Jeff Keighley of the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The show returns as a personal event this year after a virtual one in 2020 due to the pandemic.
