Dead Space – 2023 reviews, pros and cons

Instead of reinventing the wheel, Motive made Dead Space more engaging, playable, and retained the essence of the gameplay. His new colors add to that fun, not take it away. This remake respects and polishes my memories of Isaac’s first encounter with the Necromorphs without making me miss the original version. It also serves as an ideal starting point for beginners as it is on par with today’s games.

EA Motive has done an incredible job with Dead Space Remake to update the horror classic, bringing true horror back to the genre, along with thoughtful changes and additions to the original story. Without a doubt, this is one of the best remakes ever made and it’s like playing Dead Space for the first time over and over again. Welcome back, Isaac.

Dead Space (2023) feels a bit overkill considering the original is still holding on, but the well-executed remake still makes for an outstanding horror experience.

Dead Space is a fantastic remake that takes all the best of the original and adds a lot of smart and impressive features.

Still, it’s nice to dive back into USG Ishimura. The concept of Dead Space is still relevant, and the redesign provided by EA Motive highlights its best features and eliminates old pitfalls. Fans of sci-fi survival horror should get what they want from this: the return of a classic with great graphics and some new twists, but with the same old fun pastime.

Dead Space Remake is a brilliant shooter that once again features creepy body horror and enjoyable gunplay, but spices up familiar elements with new weapons and horror.

Motive’s Dead Space remake is a glorious grotesque glow that takes the solid formula of the original horror game, with only a small dose of crap stopping it from achieving perfection.

It’s clear that this excellent Dead Space remake was the fruit of the love of the Motive Studios team, who very carefully balanced innovation and renewal with preservation, and to their credit, the end result is undoubtedly the ultimate way to experience – or redo. -experience is one of the best survival shooters Capcom has ever made.

The new side quests may leave something to be desired, but every other addition contributes to a remake that stays true to its parent while also improving it in many ways. Newbies and die-hard Dead Space fans will get the most out of the game, but now it’s the most essential way to play one of the best survival horror genres.

The Dead Space remake sets a new standard for the future of the survival horror series, even if it’s not the sequel I’ve dreamed of.

An excellent remake of the not quite classic survival horror, nevertheless, a convincing argument in favor of continuing the series.

The Dead Space remake improves upon the 2008 original in every category, offering quality-of-life improvements, new story content, side quests, and vastly improved graphics. It’s like Dead Space, but better, and many fans will be thrilled to see this survival horror classic get the modern look it deserves.

When it comes to Ishimura’s overall layout, story, art, and gameplay, Motive doesn’t differ much from the 2008 version, and it doesn’t need to. Controls, visuals, performance, and the clunky 3D map have been improved this time around. The result is not just an outstanding survival horror game, but one of the best games of all time. Even if you’ve played the original many times, I can’t recommend the remake enough.

Dead Space doesn’t just put you in the role of Isaac Clarke, it forces you to be inside his head. You constantly wonder if the visions he sees are real, and his physical reaction to the incredible events aboard the spaceship only fuels yours. You are completely at the whim of USG Ishimura and he will never let you forget it. Ultimately, Dead Space is a game that many horror developers can learn from when it comes to creating tension and a sense of fear in players.
