Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series launched and 5G is finally here

Xiaomi has launched its new Redmi Note 11 line and 5G has made its first appearance in a series of budget phones. That’s not all; impressive screen and camera specs can make these phones one of the best budget phones around.
5G connectivity has made its debut in the budget smartphone range as the top-end Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset.
Brilliant specs including a 120Hz refresh rate, 108MP camera sensors and 67MP fast charging are also among the four extremely affordable phones in the series, but read on to find out which of the four new phones is perfect for you.
Redmi Note 11

The base model of the series is still a force to be reckoned with. The screen in particular stands out: a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels, it is accompanied by an 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and two 2 megapixel sensors (one for macro photography and the other for depth sensor).
The device is powered by Snapdragon 680 chipset and packs a sizable 5000mAh battery that can be charged from 0 to 100% in just one hour thanks to 33W fast fast charging.
Starting price (4GB RAM, 64GB storage): $179 (~£132).
This device will be available for purchase in the UK with official pricing to be confirmed closer to release..
Redmi Note 11S

The “S” version offers one very clear upgrade over the standard model, and that’s the main camera sensor; its resolution is 108 megapixels rather than 50 megapixels, which is a striking feature for a phone as modest as this one. The front-facing camera has also been bumped up to 16MP rather than its little sibling’s 13MP selfie cam. This model is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, not Snapdragon.
Starting price (6GB RAM, 64GB storage): $249 (~£184).
Redmi Note 11 Pro

First of all, it’s a screen that’s not only slightly larger (6.67 inches), but also offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate for smoother scrolling and more responsive gaming. Then there’s the battery; while this one has the same 5000mAh capacity, it is compatible with powerful 67W fast charging and can apparently go from zero to 51% charge in just 15 minutes.
Starting price (6GB RAM, 64GB storage): $299 (~£221).
Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G

The Note 11 Pro 5G is the undisputed king of the line, and the reason for that lies in its name; this model is the first in the series to offer 5G connectivity thanks to the Snapdragon 695 chipset. If you want the highest data rate available, then this is the right choice for you.
Starting price (6GB RAM, 64GB storage): $329 (~£243).
