The specifications of the Xiaomi Civi were officially published on Weibo ahead of the launch of the smartphone. The new Xiaomi phone will ship with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. The battery capacity of the Xiaomi Civi is also announced. New details come a few days after Xiaomi announced that the smartphone will have a triple rear camera and a curved display. Xiaomi Civi appears to be a new mid-range smartphone that could be next to the existing Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE and Mi 11 Lite 5G.
Xiaomi Civi specifications
On September 25, Xiaomi posted a couple of teasers on Weibo to disclose key characteristics of Xiaomi Civi. One of the teasers especially shows SoC Snapdragon 778G on a smartphone. Unveiled in May, the chipset is still available on the mid-range phone list, including the recently launched Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE as well as the iQoo Z5 5G.
Along with Snapdragon SoC, Xiaomi Civi is teased Come with a 4500mAh battery. It is claimed to provide the longest battery life of any Xiaomi smartphone released this year.
Xiaomi also teased 32 megapixel camera on Xiaomi Civi, along with dual LED flash with soft light and autofocus lens.
Previous teasers have revealed that the Xiaomi Civi will have a curved display and anti-reflective glass on the back. It also had triple rear cameras. The bottom of the phone has a USB Type-C port, speaker grill, main microphone and SIM card slot, while the top appears to have an infrared (IR) sensor.
It is assumed that Xiaomi is planning to plan several models in the Xiaomi Civi series. However, the first phone in the lineup is expected to be unveiled at a presentation in China on Monday 27 September.
