Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi Civi 1S in China in April as an updated model of last year’s Xiaomi Civi. Now, a well-known tipster has shared the alleged specs of an unspecified Xiaomi phone that is expected to be Xiaomi Civi 2. It is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. Since Xiaomi Civi was announced in September last year, the Chinese tech giant may announce it successor around the same time later this year. However, just like with Xioami Civi, Xiaomi Civi 2 will not be released worldwide.
Specifications of Xiaomi Civi 2 (rumored)
According to bug Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi Civi 2 may be equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. It is said to feature a curved flexible OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision technology and narrow bezels. Camera configurations were not mentioned. However, the tipster suggests that both the front and rear cameras will be upgraded. It also reportedly supports 67W fast charging. Xiaomi is allegedly currently testing this phone in China.
As a reminder, Xiaomi Civi 1S was recently launched in April. It features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ micro-curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 950 nits peak brightness. This smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 778G+ processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In terms of cameras, there is a 64MP triple rear camera and a 32MP selfie camera. The 4500mAh battery supports 55W fast charging. The smartphone runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 skin on top. Its dual stereo speaker setup is enhanced with Dolby Atmos technology. Its starting price was 2,299 yuan (roughly Rs. 27,000) for the base model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
