Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones with Snapdragon 870 processors coming soon

Xiaomi is reportedly developing two smartphones based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. According to the report, one smartphone will have the Xiaomi brand and the other may be a Redmi smartphone. The new upcoming smartphones are said to feature 5G connectivity and 67W fast charging support. Meanwhile, a Xiaomi smartphone with model number 2112123AC has been spotted on the Chinese 3C certification website, hinting at the key specs of a future smartphone from the Chinese tech giant.

V series from messages on chinese microblogging site Weibo, notable tap Digital chat station claims Xiaomi is working on the development of two smartphones based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and one will be released under the Redmi brand.

The specs on offer include a 120Hz refresh rate display, a 5000mAh battery paired with 67W fast charging and 33W fast wireless charging support, JBL speakers and an X-axis motor.

Tipster Digital Chat Station (translated) also general 3C listing for Xiaomi smartphone with model number 2112123AC. The listing suggests that the upcoming smartphone will have 5G connectivity and support for 67W fast charging. The 3C listing does not mention whether this certification applies to a Xiaomi or Redmi smartphone.
