Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro spotted in IMEI database, launch expected later this year: report

Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro have allegedly been spotted in the IMEI database. Little is known about these smartphones. However, they are expected to be launched in China and around the world later this year. The Chinese tech giant launched the Xiaomi 12 line last December. He is reportedly working on the Xiaomi 12 Ultra which could be released soon. The company is also believed to be working on the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G phone. According to report from Xiaomiui, four new Xiaomi phones have appeared in the IMEI database. The model numbers 221113C and 2210132C supposedly correspond to the Chinese models of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, respectively. The global variants are believed to have model numbers 2211133G and 2210132G. These smartphones may be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Xiaomi may release these smartphones later this year, around November.

Before we could see the introduction of the Xiaomi 13 lineup, the Chinese tech giant is getting ready to launch the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Past reports have suggested that this smartphone may have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It may have a 6.6-inch display and a 4860mAh battery. This smartphone may include a Sony IMX989 sensor. Xiaomi also announced a collaboration with German camera manufacturer Leica. Xiaomi 12 Ultra may even have an imaging system developed by Leica and Xiaomi.

In related news, Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro have also appeared in the IMEI database. These phones feature a flexible, curved display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is assumed that they will work on SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+. The Xiaomi 12S series is supposed to be equipped with a 50MP main camera with a new hardware-level algorithm to improve performance.
