Vivo S15 series design shown in official images ahead of May 19 launch in China

The Vivo S15 series will be launched in China on May 19th. Ahead of its release, the Chinese tech giant has officially unveiled the design of future smartphones. The two upcoming Vivo S15 series smartphones have recently been subjected to several alleged leaks. And now the official teaser images show that the Vivo S15 Pro will have a 60-degree curved display. Apart from this, the company has also confirmed the arrival of Vivo TWS Air earphones along with these phones.

Through a post on the official Weibo handleVivo has confirmed that the Vivo S15 Pro will feature a water ripple design with a slight curved screen. The teaser images show that the upcoming smartphone is equipped with a curved display panel on the front side. In contrast, the regular Vivo S15 is seen in the teaser images with a flat display.

The Vivo S15 series also features an aircraft-grade aluminum frame with curved corners and a unique texture on the back.

Vivo previously confirmed that the Vivo S15 series smartphones will run Android-based OriginOS out of the box. The upcoming smartphone series is expected to support 80W fast charging.

In terms of camera, the vanilla Vivo S15 is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup including 64MP, 8MP, and 2MP sensors. The Pro model, on the other hand, has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro camera.

What’s more, past leaks have also hinted that the Vivo S15 Pro phone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC and could be equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
