Vivaldi 5.0 for Android introduces two rows of tabs for the first time for the mobile browser

Vivaldi 5.0 has been released for Android and includes several innovative new features. The highlight of this version is the “Two-Tier Tab Stacks” feature, which introduces two rows of tabs into the mobile browser, making it the first in the world to do so. This option was introduced in the PC version earlier this year, and due to the positive feedback, Vivaldi decided to bring this feature to the Android version of the browser. In addition, he also introduced the world’s first built-in sidebars for his tablet browser.

Vivaldi has worked hard to update its user interface for this version of Android. Vivaldi 5.0 allows users to customize their tab bar by shrinking the size of each tab and even having the option to remove the close button on active tabs. Users can also access the Two-Level Tab Stacks feature in two ways. They can press and hold the New Tab button and select New Tab Stack. In addition, users can drag and drop a tab to another to create stacks.

Vivaldi has also modified its built-in Notes tool to add large snippets of text from a web page to an existing note using the Add to Note option. This option appears when users select text on a web page. In addition, you can now select the Dark Theme option for certain web pages.

Vivaldi 5.0 is also optimized for tablets and Chromebooks. It has the world’s first built-in sidebar for tablet browsers. The panel appears on the left side of the screen. It gives users access to history, downloads, bookmarks, notes and other tools on the fly. The sidebar can be easily switched by tapping the top left corner of the location bar. The tablet browser has desktop-style tabs making it easy to keep track of active tabs. It even offers a desktop-like full screen mode while browsing, hiding the Android system status bar.
