There are a few months left before we expect Samsung to introduce Galaxy S22but the two leaks may have only given us an idea of the smartphone’s design.
The first leak is a set of screen protectors that give us an idea of what to expect from the display on the S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra, and the second is images of tempered glass cut to fit the back of the phones, giving us a premature look. on camera modules on each of the models.
Tipster Ice Universe posted on Twitter photos of three S22 screen protectors.
The images seem to confirm that Samsung will again release three different sized models in the flagship series, with perforated selfie cameras in the center at the top of each.
The notches for the S22 and S22 Plus camera arrays look the same, with three sensors stacked vertically on top of each other, while the notch labeled S22 Ultra reveals five sensors, three large ones stacked vertically and two smaller ones stacked vertically to their right. in the shape of the letter “P”.
This year, the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus used camera arrays similar to this leak, each with two 12MP lenses and a 64MP lens, while the S21 Ultra has a 108MP lens, a 12MP lens and two 10 -megapixel lenses. -megapixel lenses along with a fifth sensor for improved autofocus performance, again with a design similar to the one in this leak.
However, we expect some changes to the camera next year. Twitter prompt @FrontTron suggested we see a 50MP main lens instead of a 12MP and a 12MP telephoto lens instead of a 64MP one in the base models, almost flipping the main and telephoto sizes.
We also heard from Ice universe that the S22 Ultra may have a 12MP zoom lens, offering it a couple of extra pixels over the 10MP in the S21 Ultra.
