The Vivo T2 5G series will launch in April for less than Rs. 20,000: Report

Vivo is reportedly planning to expand its T series of smartphones with the new Vivo T2 5G series. The phones could soon be launched by the Chinese smartphone maker in India. The upcoming phone will reportedly feature a number of upgrades over its predecessor, the Vivo T1 5G, which was launched in 2022. The estimated launch schedule as well as the specifications of the phone have been leaked online. According to the report, Vivo T2 5G will use Snapdragon SoC. It is also speculated that it will have a Full HD+ display and run on Android 13.

According to report According to Pricebaba, the Vivo T2 series is likely to debut in India in mid-April. The alleged Vivo T2 series is expected to consist of two models – Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G. The report also suggests that future Vivo T2 series phones will likely use MediaTek Dimensity and Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. The phones can be priced for less than Rs. 20,000, with one of them being Vivo’s cheapest 5G phone in the country, according to the report.

Additionally, both phones have also reportedly been spotted in the Google Play Console database, suggesting some of their key details. The Vivo T2 5G is said to be listed with model number Vivo V2222, waterdrop notch display, Full-HD+ resolution, Snapdragon 695 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage. The report suggests that the phone will run on Android 13.

On the other hand, the Vivo T2x 5G is reportedly listed under the model number V2225 on the Google Play Console. It can also be seen on a waterdrop notch display with Full-HD+ resolution. The report also states that the phone will be equipped with a Dimensity 700 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and will run Android 13.

Vivo T1 5G was launched last February in India. This 5G smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 695 5G SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Vivo T1 5G features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. It features a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor.
