The price of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 was announced online – just days before the Galaxy Unpacked event, at which the South Korean company is expected to unveil new truly wireless earbuds (TWS) alongside other new devices. The earbuds seem to be priced well below the Galaxy Buds Pro. In addition to the Galaxy Buds 2, Samsung’s S Pen Pro pricing and specs have surfaced online. The new S Pen is speculated to be for the Galaxy Z Fold 3, which will also debut at the upcoming event.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 price (expected)
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 will be priced at € 149.99 (approximately Rs 13,200) including taxes, according to German site WinFuture.de. The announced price is significantly lower than the Galaxy Buds Pro, which was launched earlier this year at a price of 230 euros (20,300 rupees). This is also below the price of the Samsung Galaxy Buds + as they cost € 170 (Rs 15,000).
Analyst Evan Blass reported last month that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 will retail for around $ 149 (roughly Rs 11,000) in the US.
The Galaxy Buds 2 are speculated to be the successor to the Galaxy Buds + with several updates including Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The earbuds are rumored to have an IPX2 certified design for water resistance and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity. Plus, you can expect about 20 hours of battery life with ANC on and about 29 hours of use without noise cancellation.
Samsung can offer sound with AKG tuning for the Galaxy Buds 2. Moreover, there may be a list of color options to choose from.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 S Pen Pro: price, features (expected)
As reported from GSMArena, informant @ chunvn8888, a leak The price and specs of the upcoming S Pen Pro can be found on Twitter. The source said the new S Pen model will be available for £ 70 (Rs 7,200). In terms of specifications, it has a 0.7mm tip and 4096 pressure levels. The stylus is reported to have USB Type-C charging support and a magnet to connect to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Samsung currently sells the S Pen for half the S Pen Pro’s stated price – £ 35 (Rs 3,600) – with the same 0.7mm nib and 4,096 pressure points.
The new S Pen model will, of course, be specially designed for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and will be compatible with its body. But it’s interesting to see if this is just a new foldable phone as a key reason why it will be priced higher compared to the existing S Pen.
Samsung previously brought a pencil-sized S Pen Pro for the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. However, it is unclear if there will be any significant changes between this model and the one that will be released for the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked release is scheduled for August 11th, where we’ll likely get more details on the S Pen Pro and Galaxy Buds 2 – along with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Watch 4. But for now, we can safely expect that there will be new rumors on the Internet that will offer some more interesting points about the upcoming Samsung devices.
