Tecno Pova 4 Pro Launched With MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, 6000mAh Battery: Price, Specs

The Tecno Pova 4 Pro debuted in Bangladesh as the latest addition to the Pova smartphone range. The 4G-only device features a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC under the hood, as well as a 90Hz AMOLED display and a 50MP dual rear camera setup. The phone also packs a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, which Tecno claims will charge the Pova 4 Pro up to 50 percent in about 24 minutes. Other features of the phone include a heat dissipation system with a graphite cooling tube and dual speakers with AI-enabled noise cancellation.

The Tecno Pova 4 Pro has one configuration of 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, priced at 26,990 BDT (roughly Rs. 21,330). The Tecno smartphone is sold in a single Fluorite Blue color. The phone is currently only available in Bangladesh and the company has not announced its availability in other markets, including India.

Tecno Pova 4 Pro features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood of the Tecno Pova 4 Pro is a MediaTek Dimensity G99 6nm SoC. Launched as a gaming-focused phone, the Pova 4 Pro also supports 5GB of extended virtual memory in addition to the 8GB of RAM it ships with.

The smartphone received a dual rear camera with a main 50-megapixel sensor. It also features a 2-megapixel secondary sensor and LED flash. On the front of the Tecno Pova 4 Pro is an 8MP selfie camera housed in a notch. The selfie camera also features a flash for better low-light selfies.

This smartphone packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, which is claimed to add at least 50 percent battery life in about 24 minutes of charging. Tecno Pova 4 Pro also includes gaming-focused features such as a graphite cooling tube for better heat dissipation and a host of software features such as a game engine that helps allocate the phone’s CPU power based on the game.

The phone also features a hard gyroscope sensor that promises to help gamers aim and a Z-axis linear vibration motor to enhance the phone’s tactile feel while gaming. Tecno Pova 4 Pro runs HiOS based on Android 12 and is a dual SIM (Nano) 4G phone.
