Tecno Pop 5P launched with 5000mAh battery, dual rear cameras: price, specifications

Tecno Pop 5P smartphone launched as the latest offering from the company. It can be bought in Nigeria from the Jumia online site and has entry-level features and specifications. The Tecno Pop 5P has a waterdrop notch and is equipped with a dual camera on the back. The phone lists a 5,000mAh battery and runs on the outdated Android 10 software. The Tecno Pop 5P is a slightly forked version of the Tecno Pop 5 announced last month.

On the website, the new Tecno Pop 5P costs 44,000 NGN (roughly Rs 7,900) for a single model with 2GB RAM + 32GB storage. The phone is available in Rose Gold and Essential Black. It is already on sale at The Tecno kit includes a free case and headphones, as well as a charger and charging cable.

In terms of specifications, the Tecno Pop 5P runs Android 10 (Go Edition) based HiOS software and features a 6.52-inch HD + (720×1600) display with a waterdrop notch. It is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor (not listed) paired with 2GB of RAM. The internal memory is 32 GB.

The Tecno Pop 5P has a dual rear camera that includes a 5MP main sensor. The front of the phone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The phone has a 5000 mAh battery that provides up to 22 hours of calls on 3G, 11 hours of watching videos, 100 hours of listening to music and 790 hours of standby time on 3G.

Tecno Pop 5P supports FM, GSM, WCDMA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS wireless options. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back and the phone supports Face Unlock. Other onboard sensors include a G-sensor, a distance sensor, and an ambient light sensor. The Tecno Pop 5 smartphone measures 157.7×75.7×9.55 mm and weighs approximately 200 grams.
