What about the plot of She-Hulk?
Like many other MCU Disney+ shows, She-Hulk will be a superhero story. If you haven’t already, Jennifer Walters is a lawyer and cousin of Bruce Banner, better known as the Hulk.
In the comics, Walters is shot dead by a criminal seeking revenge. To save her life, Banner gives an emergency blood transfusion. In doing so, he transfers some of his gamma radiation to her, cementing her transformation into She-Hulk.
The second trailer shows that Walters is quite comfortable with her new powers and may have even more power than her cousin. However, she is keen to focus on her career as a lawyer. She has the opportunity to marry the two when her firm creates a new division built for superheroes.
Luckily, Walters doesn’t share her cousin’s uncontrollable rage, so she can continue working as a lawyer even while in Hulk mode. Disney described the show as a “legal comedy,” so we think it’ll be a little less brutal than Netflix’s Daredevil, another show that fuses the worlds of law and superheroes.
Co-director Cat Coiro told IGN that “there will be some big surprises around the fourth wall,” which the characters will break frequently throughout the show.
