While Apple’s latest iPhone 13 offers better upgrades, Samsung has still found ways to mock the Cupertino tech giant in its latest release. Samsung took to Twitter about Apple unveiling 120Hz refresh rates so late for its flagship phones.
Samsung introduced 120Hz displays almost two years ago and introduced the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, and now Apple is catching up with Samsung in the near end of 2021 with its iPhone 13 series. Moreover, a 120Hz display is available on all S20 smartphones. while Apple limited it to only the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max, forcing customers to spend extra money on the display alone.
We’ve been updating 120Hz for a while now …

Samsung isn’t the only company to have unveiled the display, however, as OnePlus first unveiled the OnePlus 7 Pro in May 2019. Also, it should be noted that the Samsung S20 series can only switch between 60Hz and 120Hz, while the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max can continuously switch between 10Hz and 120Hz depending on battery life.
In general, Apple has its own views on introducing features, while Samsung has its own.
