According to the source, the Galaxy S23 series phones will be almost the same size as the Galaxy S22 phones. The whistleblower also claims that the phones belonging to both series will have the same screen size and resolution. Reports have even said that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has the same rear camera design as the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Tipster Ice Universe shared a post on Weibo, providing information and comparing the sizes of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22 series. Tipster claims that the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23 smartphones will have the same screen size – 6.1 inches – and a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. However, there may be slight differences in size. The Galaxy S22 measures 146.0×70.6×7.6mm while the Galaxy S23 measures 146.3×70.9×7.6mm.
Similarly, the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S23+ have the same screen size of 6.6 inches and a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. There may be subtle differences in size. The Galaxy S22+ measures 157.4×75.8×7.64mm while the Galaxy S23+ can measure 157.8×76.2×7.6mm.
Finally, the screen size and resolution of the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra are also stated to be the same: 6.8 inches and 1440×3088 pixels, respectively. The Galaxy S22 Ultra measures 163.3×77.9×8.9mm while the S23 Ultra measures 163.4×78.1×8.9mm.
Development began a few days after the same tipster announced that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature a rear camera module that looks similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 Ultra. It consists of a quad-camera setup dubbed a 108-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view, and two 10-megapixel sensors. The Galaxy S23 may come with a 200-megapixel main camera sensor.
