Samsung has released a couple of official teasers for the upcoming Galaxy S23 line of smartphones, both of which point to significant camera improvements for the flagship line.
Both videos focus on the photographic qualities of the Galaxy S23 and suggest that they will get more detail and improved low-light performance compared to the Galaxy S22 line.
One video says “Megapixels that will make you exclaim” and “Wow-worthy resolution coming soon”, which seems to refer to the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 200MP wide-tip main camera sensor.
Another video offers the slogans “Made for moonlight”, “Shoot the night even in low light”, and “Awesome night photos coming soon”.
It’s not a typo either. In words with two consecutive “O”s, the letters are replaced with the brand’s iconic line of three camera lenses. Do you see what they did there?
So far, the vast majority of the information we’ve gotten about the Galaxy S23 lineup has come from rumors and leaks, so these official snippets from Samsung itself are worth keeping an eye out for.
We expect Samsung to make an official announcement at a special Unpacked event rumored to take place in San Francisco on February 1st. .
If the latest news is to be believed, this could be the last time we see a Plus device.
