Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ Spotted on 3C Certification Website, 25W Charging Support Claimed: Details

The Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ have reportedly been spotted on the 3C certification website. Both of Samsung’s flagship phones are expected to launch with support for 25W fast charging. A recent report indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series could be powered by Exynos SoC. The Galaxy S23 features a 6.1-inch display, just like this year’s Samsung Galaxy S22. Samsung is also reportedly planning to increase the battery capacity of the Galaxy S23+. Compared to the Galaxy S22+’s 4500mAh battery capacity, the Galaxy S23+ is expected to come with a 4700mAh battery.

According to a recent MySmartPrice report, the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ have cleared 3C certification. According to the listing, the Galaxy S23 may have model number SM-S9110 and the S23+ may have model number SM-S9160. Gadgets 360 was able to verify both listings on the certification website.

As mentioned earlier, both smartphones from the South Korean company will come with 25W fast charging.

Earlier this month, a report hinted that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series could be powered by “some” Exynos SoCs. There is a possibility that it could be an Exynos 2300 SoC.

Another report also mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will have the same dimensions as the Galaxy S22 series. According to the report, the Galaxy S23 could measure 146.3 x 70.9 x 7.6mm while the Galaxy S22 could be 146.0 x 70.6 x 7.6mm. However, the Galaxy S23 has a 6.1-inch display, just like the Galaxy S22.

As a reminder, the South Korean tech giant is also reportedly planning to increase the battery capacity of the Galaxy S23+. Compared to the 4500mAh battery found in the Galaxy S22+, the Galaxy S23+ is expected to come with a 4700mAh battery. However, the vanilla Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra are not expected to receive the same treatment. According to the report, Samsung is expected to achieve this increase in battery capacity without significantly impacting the thickness and weight of the Galaxy S23+.
