Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + may have more rounded edges than the Galaxy S21 lineup and ultra-thin bezels

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series appears to come with ultra-thin bezels and more rounded edges than the Galaxy S21 models, the informant suggested, showing off alleged tempered glass screen protectors for Samsung’s next-generation flagships. The new series, which is supposed to have the regular Samsung Galaxy S22 alongside the Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra, may have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC. The Galaxy S22 Ultra lineup will also feature a new camera design and S Pen support.

Tipster Ice Universe tweeted a couple of images showcasing alleged tempered glass screen protectors for the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 +, as well as the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 +. The images suggest the new phones will have more rounded edges compared to the Galaxy S21 models.

Samsung also seems to offer a wider display area compared to earlier Galaxy flagships. In addition, the advisor suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + will include 19.5: 9 aspect ratiowhile the Galaxy S22 Ultra may have an aspect ratio of 19.3: 9.

Tempered glass protector images also suggest Samsung will opt for the same bezels across the display – a move similar to Apple’s.

Samsung has yet to confirm the development of Galaxy S22 models. However, there are rumors that the new flagships are currently in development and will launch in February next year. The Galaxy S22 series is speculated to have 25W fast charging and a Snapdragon 898 processor. Samsung may also provide S Pen integration with the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
