Samsung Galaxy S22 February 9 Launch Event Officially Confirmed

Since the invitations are coming, this is hardly a surprise. It was completely leaked a few hours before the official release, thanks to a well-known online whistleblower.

However, at least it’s finally official. Samsung will be streaming its next Galaxy Unpacked event from its Official site February 9 at 3:00 pm UK time (10:00 am ET).

The promotional animation for the event features a transparent cube with the numbers “S” and “22” accompanied by the phrase “Epic Standard”. Click the “Pre-register” button here and you will be taken to the countdown timer page.

While Samsung is set to officially announce the Galaxy S22 on February 9th, we already know for a fact that its new flagship phone will be a centerpiece.

Leaks and rumors suggest another product line of three products: the standard Samsung Galaxy S22, the larger Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, and the super-flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The latter is likely to be the most interesting of the three, with a design that nods to the now defunct Galaxy Note series. It even reportedly has an S Pen stylus. This is the same continuation of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, just like the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Samsung must also find time to launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, which has also been heavily leaked in recent weeks. This too can come in three variants, led by the shiny Ultra model.
