Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been leaked multiple times in the past. Ahead of the official announcement of the South Korean smartphone brand, a new report says the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will debut One UI 4.0 based on Google’s latest operating system, Android 12. The phone was previously thought to be released this year as a successor. on the Galaxy S20 FE. But recent leaks suggest the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will launch during the 2022 CES (Consumer Electronics Show).
According to report from SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be running One UI 4.0 update based on the latest Android 12. The upcoming Galaxy S21 FE is also reportedly joining other Samsung phones that will receive OS updates prior to Android 15.
Samsung released the public beta of the One UI 4 update based on Android 12 this September with new themes, color palettes and privacy settings. Samsung has officially begun rolling out a new Android skin for the Galaxy S21 series, including the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The update will reach a large number of Samsung phones in India in December. The stable update offers more customization options and offers new widgets, as well as a wider range of emoji, GIF and keyboard stickers. The privacy features of the new Android skin include alerts when the app tries to access the camera or microphone.
Previous leaks suggest the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will ship with Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 processors in different markets. The phone could receive the Exynos 2100 chipset in India.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE features a 6.4-inch Full-HD + (1080×2,340 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to house 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone is expected to sport a 64MP triple camera as well as a 32MP selfie camera on the front.
