Samsung Galaxy M22 support page allegedly opens in Russia, launch may be imminent

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy M22 may be imminent as its support page is reportedly popping up online. The support page doesn’t contain much information other than the model number of the upcoming smartphone. The Samsung smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, which can be paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, there is no confirmation as to whether this will be the only proposed storage configuration. The design of the Galaxy M22 is believed to be similar to that of the Galaxy A22.

According to report by MySmartPrice, a support page for Samsung smartphones has opened on its website in Russia. The publication also shared a screenshot of the page. Gadgets 360 was unable to validate a page on the website. It is reported that the page does not reveal the name of the future smartphone, but mentions the model number – SM-M225FV / DS, which presumably belongs to the Galaxy M22. The DS at the end of the model number suggests that the smartphone can have two SIM cards. Also, the support page doesn’t mention any other details about the smartphone.

The Galaxy M22 is expected to have a design similar to the Galaxy A22 launched in India in June, with four rear cameras housed in a square body in the upper left corner, along with a circular LED flash underneath. On the front of the smartphone, there may be a proprietary Samsung Infinity-V waterdrop notch for a selfie camera. Samsung is expected to offer the smartphone in black, blue and white.

It can be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, which can be paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It can also have a microSD card slot supporting up to 1TB storage.

Its quad rear camera setup could include a 48MP primary wide-angle sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and two 2MP depth and macro sensors.
