Samsung Galaxy M04 and Galaxy A04e Receive Bluetooth SIG Certification, May Coming Soon: Report

The Samsung Galaxy M04 and Galaxy A04e have reportedly been spotted on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) certification website. These smartphones are said to support Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. Not much is known about the technical specifications of these Samsung phones. Notably, the Galaxy M04 is allegedly listed alongside the Galaxy A04e models. Since the phones are listed together, this could mean that the Galaxy A04e could just be a rebranded version of the Galaxy M04. In addition, both rumored smartphones have previously appeared on the benchmarking site Geekbench and have similar specifications.

According to MySmartPrice report, Samsung Galaxy A04e (also called Galaxy A04 Core) with model numbers SM-A042F, SM042F_DS, SM-A042M and SM-A042M_DS has been listed on the Bluetooth SIG certification site. Additionally, the same list mentions the Galaxy M04 with model number SM-M045F_DS. Both of these Samsung phones have Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity.

Since both of these phones are included in the same list, the Galaxy A04e is assumed to be a rebadged version of the Galaxy M04. The first one was reportedly spotted on the Geekbench database in early August of this year. A purported Geekbench listing indicates that it may contain a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. This Samsung smartphone is said to have 3GB of RAM and run Android 12 out of the box.

Interestingly, the Galaxy M04 with model number SM-M045F appeared on Geekbench even earlier, with the same MediaTek chipset, 3GB of RAM, and running Android 12.

According to a recent report, the Galaxy A04e and Galaxy M04 have also been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The versions coming to India are said to have model numbers SM-A042F_DS and SM-M045F_DS respectively.

Samsung has yet to announce plans for the upcoming Galaxy A04e and Galaxy M04. However, these listings hint at the imminent launch of both phones. Earlier this year, promotional images of the Galaxy A04e were also leaked showing it showing off an Infinity-V display. Most likely, it will be available in black, green and copper colors.
