Samsung Galaxy A23 5G variant reported to be launched soon

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G variant is reportedly coming to Europe soon. The South Korean giant introduced the Galaxy A23 4G variant in India in March. The report does not include any additional details about the smartphone, such as price and specifications. However, we can assume that 5G will not receive the Snapdragon 680 SoC found in the Galaxy A23 4G variant, since this chip does not support 5G. Recall that the Galaxy A23 4G runs on Android 12.

According to the new report from the Galaxy Club, Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy A23 5G variant in European markets. However, the report does not contain any confirmation regarding the exact launch date of the future smartphone. What’s more, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G could be the successor to the Samsung Galaxy A23 4G, at least in terms of cellular capabilities.

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Specifications (Expected)

The dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is said to run Android 11 out of the box. It will reportedly feature a 6.4-inch HD IPS LCD display. Under the hood could be a MediaTek Dimensity 700 (MT6833) SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, a previous report suggested that the Samsung smartphone will come with a quad rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and dual 2MP macro and depth sensors. For selfies, it can get a 13-megapixel sensor. The report also mentions that the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G camera will have features such as digital zoom, auto flash, face detection, and touch focus.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 4G has debuted in India with a starting price of Rs. 19,499. The smartphone features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display and runs One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 as mentioned above.
