Samsung Galaxy A14 battery, camera details revealed, Geekbench listing suggests MediaTek Hello G80 SoC

The Samsung Galaxy A14 is reportedly preparing to launch in India. Ahead of the official debut, a new report suggests battery and camera specifications for the alleged device. The Galaxy A14 is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery and a 50MP primary rear sensor. In addition, a Samsung smartphone with model number SM-A145P has allegedly appeared on benchmarking site Geekbench, hinting at its key specs. The listing is supposed to be the Galaxy A14. Shown is a smartphone with SoC MediaTek Hello G80 and 4 GB of RAM. The Galaxy A14 will replace the Galaxy A13.

According to report From GalaxyClub (Dutch), the Galaxy A14 will ship with a 5,000mAh battery just like the Galaxy A13. Like its predecessor, the new smartphone can also be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera. The report also states that the Galaxy A13 will feature a 13-megapixel selfie sensor.

Separately alleged listing on Geekbench, first spotted MySmartPrice shows an alleged Samsung Galaxy A14 with model number SM-A145P. According to the listing, the smartphone can receive an octa-core MT6769V processor with a base frequency of 1.80 Hz. This code number is associated with the MediaTek Hello G80 SoC. The listing states that the phone will have 3.66 GB of storage. On paper, that means 4GB of RAM.

The Galaxy A14 reportedly scored 1658 in single-core testing and 5283 in multi-core testing on Geekbench. Actual phone performance may vary as ratings listed may be based on prototype. The listing screenshots also suggest that the expected smartphone could run Android 13 out of the box.

Rumors about the upcoming Galaxy A14 have been around for quite some time. A recent leak suggested that the smartphone will have a waterdrop notch display. It is said to feature a 6.8-inch Full HD+ LCD display. The Galaxy A14 is said to measure 167.7 x 78.7 x 9.3mm.
