Samsung Galaxy A04s renderings leaked, hinting at similar specs to Galaxy A03s

Samsung is reportedly working on a new entry-level smartphone that will be the successor to the Samsung Galaxy A03s. The announcement of a future model called Samsung Galaxy A04s may take several months. However, we may have already gotten a glimpse of the phone’s design and specs, as some CAD renders of the smartphone have been leaked online by whistleblower Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka Onleaks. High resolution renders show that there is no drastic difference in design compared to its predecessor.

Given the fact that the Samsung Galaxy A04s will be a pocket-friendly phone, not much is expected of it in terms of features. The leaked renders hint at a flat display that is expected to be around 6.5 inches and is said to feature a V-notch at the top. The display will reportedly feature an HD+ resolution panel.

The dimensions of the smartphone, as suggested by OnLeak renders published in cooperation with Giznext is said to be 164.5 x 76.5 x 9.18mm.

In terms of processors, it is not yet known whether Samsung will choose the MediaTek, Qualcomm or Unisoc SoC series. Details on the battery front have yet to be released, but like its predecessor the Samsung Galaxy A03s, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A04s could be available with a 5,000mAh battery that provides 15W of charging.

According to the leaked renders, there are control buttons on the right side of the phone to adjust the volume. As with other Samsung smartphones, the power button is also located on the right side panel and may include a built-in fingerprint scanner. The rear panel, according to the renders, shows a vertical triple camera, the details of which are not yet known. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy A03s, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A04s doesn’t appear to have a camera bump. However, the lenses stick out at the back – like the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The leaked renders also show a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom, a USB Type-C port for charging, and speaker grilles. There is a SIM + microSD slot on the left side of the phone.

The smartphone is marketed with a 6.50-inch HD+LCD display and is equipped with a Unisoc T606 processor. It comes with a 5000mAh battery and runs Android 11 OS. Along with 48MP + 2MP rear camera support, the Samsung Galaxy A03s offers a 5MP selfie front camera. The phone is available in a single variant with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage.
