Redmi Note 11 Series release today: how to watch live, expected price, specifications

The Redmi Note 11 series launches today. The new series of smartphones of the Xiaomi Redmi sub-brand is expected to consist of three different models – the regular Redmi Note 11, as well as the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro +. Although there are a few hours left before the official launch, some specs and pricing information for the Redmi Note 11 series has leaked from a Vietnamese source. The Redmi Note 11 is rumored to start at 1,199 Yuan (roughly Rs 14,000) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB variant. The phone is also said to have 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB models, which can be priced at 1399 Yuan (roughly Rs 16,400), 1599 Yuan (roughly Rs 18,700) and 1799 yuan (approximately 18,700 rupees). 21100) respectively.

In addition to prices in China, a new report from the Vietnamese website The Pixel claimed that the Redmi Note 11 series will debut in Vietnam with a starting price of VND 5,000,000 (roughly Rs 16,500).

In terms of specs, the Redmi Note 11 series has an Anti-Glare (AG) coating along with a textured pattern on the back and is equipped with two symmetrical JBL-tuned stereo speakers. The new phones are also confirmed to have support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. In this series, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro + offer fast charging up to 120W, as well as NFC, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity. However, the indicated fast charging power may be limited by the Redmi Note 11 Pro +. Also confirmed that Redmi Note 11 Pro models have MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC octa-core.

Pixel has revealed that the Redmi Note 11 will come with an LCD panel with refresh rates up to 120Hz and an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. The phone is rumored to have a 50MP main camera sensor on the back and a 16MP selfie camera sensor on the front. In addition, it can include a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Unlike the Redmi Note 11, the Redmi Note 11 Pro is said to have an OLED display. The phone is said to have a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It could also include a 108MP main camera sensor on the back and a 16MP selfie camera sensor on the front. The Redmi Note 11 Pro is rumored to have a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

Earlier rumors also suggested a similar list of specifications for the Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11 Pro. The Redmi Note 11 Pro +, on the other hand, may be the most excellent model in the series. It can include an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI SoC.

In addition to the details coming from the rumor mill, the vanilla Redmi Note 11 is supposedly surfaced on the Chinese TENAA website with model number 21091116AC. The online listing says the phone is equipped with a 6.6-inch Full-HD + OLED display (1080×2400 pixels). It is also suggested to install a triple rear camera and a 4900mAh battery.

The kettle on Weibo has claimed that there are some wrong parameters in the TENAA listing as the phone may come with an LCD panel and not an OLED display.

Same model number as TENAA, also appeared on Geekbench. The Geekbench listing shows a phone running Android 11. It also points to the eight-core MediaTek Dimensity SoC, codenamed “evergo”, which is still associated with Taiwanese chipsets.

Alongside the Redmi Note 11 series, today’s release will be the Redmi Watch 2, which is supposed to have a larger AMOLED display compared to the original Redmi Watch. A recent report also talked about the launch of the Redmi Smart Band Pro at the event.
