Redmi K60 series is speculated to come with Snapdragon 8 Series SoC and 30W wireless charging support

The Redmi K60 series is said to be in development as the next offering from the Chinese smartphone company. Now, a Chinese leaker has offered a few specs of the upcoming Redmi K60 series smartphone. It is said to be powered by Snapdragon 8 series chipset. Xiaomi is expected to offer the phone with two charging options – 67W wired charging + 30W wireless charging and 120W wired charging + 30W wireless charging. Redmi K60 models are expected to feature a 2K display with a center-aligned display cutout.

Tipster digital chat station on Chinese microblogging site Weibo proposed estimated specifications of the Redmi K60 series smartphone. According to the leak, the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series chipset. There may be two options with different charging power. One variant of the Redmi K60 series smartphone is said to come with 67W wired charging and 30W wireless charging, while another variant may offer support for 120W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.

The Redmi K60 series is expected to replace the Redmi K50 line. Recently, the network leaked information about the Redmi K60 series. According to the leak, the phones will have a punch-hole display with 2K resolution. Future models are also said to offer 100W charging support.

They are said to feature a 50-megapixel main rear camera sensor and can be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication. Redmi K60 models will reportedly be equipped with a Sony IMX766 sensor. Xiaomi is expected to implement a feature similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island on future devices. The company’s president in China, Lu Weibing, previously asked users if they would like to see “smart island” functionality on Xiaomi phones.

However, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed any details about the Redmi K60 series, so these details should be taken with a pinch of salt.
