The Redmi 10 (2022) is said to be in development. Ahead of any official announcement from Xiaomi, the new Redmi smartphone has appeared on several websites, including the certification lists of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), IMDA, TKDN, SDPPI and the TUV Rheinland certification site, which largely confirms its appearance. The alleged phone was previously spotted in the IMEI database as well. The upcoming Redmi 10 (2022) will likely have similar specs to the Redmi 10 that launched in August this year.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) tweeted that the phone appeared on the Indonesia SDPPI and TKDN certification sites with the model number 21121119SG. The phone appears to be on the EEC, IMDA and TUV certification lists.
Separately, another tipster Kacper Skrzypek (@kacskrz) too tweeted some characteristics of Redmi 10 (2022). According to the post, the phone’s main camera will contain a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 or OmniVision OV50C40 sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor, and a 2MP OmniVision OV02B1B or GalaxyCore GC02M1B camera. The inspector also adds that the upcoming Redmi 10 (2022) may be similar to the Redmi 10 launched this year.

As a reminder, the 2021 variant of the Redmi 10 launched this August in three RAM and storage configurations. The phone is equipped with a 6.5-inch AdaptiveSync display with Full HD + resolution (1080×2400 pixels) and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It runs on the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The quad rear camera of the Redmi 10 includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor and two 2MP sensors for macro and depth sensing. Selfies and video calls are handled by an 8MP sensor. Redmi 10 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
