The specifications of the Realme GT Neo 5 have once again been revealed in a Weibo post by a well-known Chinese whistleblower. The upcoming Realme smartphone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Realme GT Neo 5 is speculated to be equipped with a 50-megapixel main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. Realme is expected to introduce two variants of the Realme GT Neo 5 with two batteries of different capacities. It is expected to replace the Realme GT Neo 3.

Chinese Whistleblower Digital Chat Station (in translation) proposed Realme GT Neo 5 key specs on Weibo. Tipster claims the phone will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is said to be under the hood. It is speculated to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 rear sensor with OIS support and an f/1.79 lens. It is said to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. Tipster also states that Realme’s upcoming phone will come with RGB lighting and will have a plastic frame.

Realme GT Neo 5 may debut in two flavors with different battery and charging specifications. The variant with 4600mAh battery is said to support 240W fast charging, while the other variant with 5000mAh battery can support 150W fast charging.

Recently leaked renders of the Realme GT Neo have provided a glimpse at the design of the rumored phone. This is seen with triple chambers arranged in two circular annular modules and curved edges.

The Realme GT Neo 5 is rumored to be a successor to the Realme GT Neo 3. The latter was launched in China in March this year with a starting price of 1,999 yuan (roughly Rs. 24,000) for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

However, since there has been no official confirmation of the launch of the Realme GT Neo 5, these details should be taken with a grain of salt.
