Realme GT Neo 5 Bags 3C Certifications, design leaked via TENAA listing: report

Realme GT Neo 5 should debut in China in February. This smartphone will be equipped with a new 240W fast charging technology. Its other features and design are currently under development. However, there are rumors that this upcoming Realme smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Two variants of it are reported to have surfaced on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) site ahead of launch. In addition, the design of these alleged Realme GT Neo 5 has been proposed by a couple of new TENAA listings.

The listing suggests this variant could include a 4,600mAh battery. Similarly, the 150W fast-charging variant with model number RMX3706 can have a 5,000mAh battery.

Also, the designs of these Realme GT Neo 5 variants have been leaked through the TENAA listings. Both appear to have a center punch hole on the front to accommodate the selfie camera. They may also come with a redesigned rear camera module.

For now, Realme has confirmed that the Realme GT Neo 5 will come with support for 240W fast charging. It will receive a PS3 fire protection design with 13 temperature sensors and a fully connected safety control mechanism. This smartphone will also have a heat dissipation area of ​​6580 square millimeters.

A recent report suggests that this smartphone could feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2169Hz pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming. The device may also get an under-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. On the back, there could be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. The Realme GT Neo 5 is said to have a plastic frame with RGB lighting.
