The specifications of the Realme GT Neo 2 were released just a few days before the official launch. The teasers confirm previous assumptions and highlight that the new Realme phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. The smartphone will also come with a larger battery than what was available on the Realme GT Neo. In addition to teasers revealing the specs of the Realme GT Neo 2, the company has posted several images showing the back of the phone. These images especially confirm the presence of a triple rear camera.
Realme GT Neo 2 Specifications
In a series of posts on Weibo, Realme has confirmed the key specs of the Realme GT Neo 2. The posts have a teaser, Basic moments eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC on the new Realme smartphone. This contrasts with the original Realme GT Neo with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. There is also a special teaser that shows the 5000mAh battery powering the Realme GT Neo 2. Its capacity is 500mAh more than the 4500mAh battery available in the Realme GT Neo. …
In addition to the larger battery, the Realme GT Neo 2 has 65W Dart Charge support, which claims to fully charge the phone in 36 minutes. The phone also has a punch-hole display design.
Realme also released some images showing the rear of the Realme GT Neo 2, which appears to have a triple rear camera with a 64MP main sensor. This is confirmed by an earlier report, which also stated that the new Realme phone also claims 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, as well as a 120Hz display. A recent Geekbench listing separately suggested that a 12GB RAM variant could also be in the works.
The Realme GT Neo 2 is additionally presented in a unique Black Mint finish. It can also have black and blue color options as suggested in the previous report.
Realme is holding the launch of the Realme GT Neo 2 in China on September 22nd. In the meantime, we can confidently expect new teasers and rumors to emerge online that will create some hype for the new smartphone ahead of its official launch.
