Realme GT Neo 2 specs include Snapdragon 870 SoC, 12GB RAM, Geekbench listing offers

Realme GT Neo 2 is a new smartphone from the company. Realme confirmed its arrival with a teaser on Weibo, but did not announce a launch date. The phone was spotted on the Geekbench testing website with key specs and a hint that a launch might be imminent. The Realme GT Neo 2 has also leaked in several renders, suggesting a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP main camera and punch-hole display. According to a recent leak, Realme will also be partnering with Mercedes-AMG on a special green variant for the GT Neo 2.

The upcoming Realme GT Neo 2 has been listed on the Geekbench 4 testing site with model number RMX3370. This is the same model number that was found on the 3C certification site in China a few days ago. The Geekbench listing indicates that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It is also stated to have 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 11 software. The phone scored 4,678 points in single-core mode and 12,690 points in Geekbench multi-core test.

While the Geekbench listing suggests the Realme GT Neo 2 will have 12GB of RAM, it will likely have an 8GB RAM variant as well. Other leaked specs include a 6.62-inch Full-HD + display and a 120Hz refresh rate. The leaked renders show that the phone’s display has a hole punch with a notch in the upper left corner of the screen. Its triple rear camera will appear to be integrated into a rectangular-shaped camera module located in the upper left corner of the rear panel. The main camera is said to include 64MP, 8MP and 2MP sensors. The front panel of the Realme GT Neo 2 will reportedly feature a 16MP selfie camera sensor. It is said to receive a 5,000mAh battery and support for 65W fast charging, as stated in the 3C certification.
