Realme GT 2 Series Launch Today: How To Watch Live Event, Expected Price, Specs

The launch of the Realme GT 2 series will take place today (December 20). The new series is expected to include the Realme GT 2 Pro, the next-generation flagship smartphone from the Chinese company. The phone has been confirmed to receive the top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It also has premium features, including an under-display selfie camera. The Realme GT 2 Pro could debut alongside the regular Realme GT 2, which will have similar specs to the flagship, but with some compromises.

Realme GT 2 Pro price (expected)
Among other devices, the Realme GT 2 Pro is expected to be a key launch announcement. The smartphone is expected to be priced at 4,000 yuan (roughly Rs 47,700). Realme may also offer a dedicated variant of the Realme GT 2 Pro, which is said to be priced at 5,000 Yuan (roughly Rs 59,600).

Realme confirmed the existence of the Realme GT 2 Pro last month. The smartphone has also allegedly received certifications from authorities, including China Compulsory Certification (3C) and the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The Realme GT 2 Pro is expected to launch in India in the first quarter of 2022.
In terms of specs, the Realme GT 2 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The smartphone features a 6.8-inch WQHD + OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and includes a triple rear camera with a 50MP main sensor. It is also reported that the Realme GT 2 Pro has up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum of 512GB of storage. It can also include a 150-degree ultra-wide shooter.
