Realme GT 2 Pro specs leaked, speculated to get Snapdragon 898 SoC, 125W fast charging

The main specs of the Realme GT 2 Pro have been posted online. According to a well-known informant, the upcoming Realme smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. In addition, the soon-to-be-released smartphone is expected to run the Realme UI 3.0 operating system based on Android 12. The inspector also hinted at the display, camera, charging and connectivity specs of the Realme GT 2 Pro. Earlier this month, another analyst offered a price tag for the Realme smartphone.

According to mail on Weibo from renowned informant WHYLAB, Realme GT 2 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC (Snapdragon 898). The phone was previously thought to be powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor. The new leak also mentions that the Realme smartphone chipset will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The inspector also mentions that the Realme GT 2 Pro – with model number RMX 3301 – will receive a 6.51-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution. A report released earlier this month says the smartphone’s display will feature a 20: 9 aspect ratio, high refresh rate and 404ppi pixel density. In addition, the Realme smartphone will also receive a 50MP main rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). At the front, it will reportedly get a 32MP selfie camera.

The Realme GT 2 Pro has now also received 125W fast charging support, whereas a previous report said the phone’s charging capacity would be limited to 65W for a 5,000mAh battery. Connectivity options, according to a new leak, could include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2. As mentioned, it runs Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.

Realme GT 2 Pro price (expected)

Earlier this month, renowned tipster Digital Chat Station hinted at the price at which Realme could launch the Realme GT 2 Pro. The phone is said to be priced at around 4,000 Yuan (roughly Rs 46,500) and the special edition is said to be around 5,000 Yuan (roughly Rs 58,200). There is no official confirmation from Realme, so all this information should be treated with a grain of salt.
