Chinese smartphone brand teased the presence of a 5000 mAh battery in the Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition via a teaser posted on Weibo. The battery is confirmed to support 100W fast charging. Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition will be the company’s first smartphone with a GaN (gallium nitride) charger for efficient and fast charging. Realme claims that this charger can reduce heat by up to 85 percent. In addition, teaser that the smartphone has a thin lightweight design and weighs 195 grams.

The Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition will launch at 14:00 CST Asia (11:30 IST) in China on July 12. It will be the company’s first phone with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The smartphone will be the successor to the Realme GT Explorer Master Edition launched last July.

Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition is confirmed to be equipped with LPDDR5X RAM. It will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display and a selfie camera cutout. It will have a 2.37mm narrow chin and 1.07 billion colors. The display will support HDR10+. The smartphone will be equipped with triple rear cameras.
