Realme 9i has appeared on new images on the net. According to the report, the new smartphone will be launched first in Vietnam on January 10, and then will appear in other regions. The Snapdragon 680 SoC is expected to be installed under the hood of the smartphone. Earlier on AliExpress, the Realme 9i was spotted with a 50MP main camera and a 5000mAh battery. The smartphone was also spotted last month on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) list, which indicated the dimensions of the upcoming phone.
A teaser for the upcoming Realme 9i has been posted on Realme Vietnam’s Facebook page. The new smartphone is expected to have a design similar to that of the Realme GT Neo 2 series, including a triple camera setup and a punch-hole display for a selfie camera. According to previous reports, the upcoming Realme 9i will launch with the Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone is said to feature a 6.59-inch (2400×1080) LCD with Full HD + resolution.
The Realme 9i may not have a headphone jack, according to a recently discovered smartphone listing on AliExpress’s e-commerce site.
The upcoming Realme 9i is likely to be the successor to the Realme 8i smartphone launched last year, with a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Realme 9i was recently spotted on the US FCC listing for the dimensions of the phone.
As for the front camera, the Realme 9i features a triple 50MP camera with a 50MP main camera and a 16MP selfie camera on the front. The smartphone is said to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via USB Type-C. The smartphone is supposed to launch with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.
Details on the smartphone, including specs and a launch date suggested by the leaks, have yet to be announced, confirmed by Realme.
