If past charts are up to date, you might have to wait a bit in the UK and Europe before you get Realme 9. As with previous releases, it’s unlikely that US buyers will be able to buy a new one. devices other than by importing.

We are also still waiting for the global launch of the Realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro flagships, which were presented in China but have not yet arrived in other countries.

The only official price at the moment is the Vietnamese price for the Realme 9i, which is VND 6,490,000 and roughly $ 285 / £ 210 / € 250 / £ 21,100 – although direct conversions are not always an accurate indicator of pricing on others markets.

We don’t know much about pricing for the other models yet – the Realme 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro + are expected – but prices will likely be in the same region as the 9i, with slight differences between all models. models.

What about the specs and design of the Realme 9?

There have been several reports that the Realme 9 lineup will feature four models – the Realme 9i, 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro +. Aside from the 9i, little is known about how they will be equipped, but here’s what we managed to collect across various devices.

Realme 9i

Let’s start with the only model released, the 9i, which is expected to be the entry-level phone in this lineup.

The phone’s design is simple and rather understated by regular Realme standards – there is no giant logo or racing stripe here. It is available in blue above or in an even simpler black version.

The Realme 9i is powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, although other configurations may be available at launch outside of Vietnam. The display is a 6.6-inch FHD + IPS LCD with refresh rates ranging from 30Hz to 90Hz.

On the camera side, you get a 16MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera: a 50MP f / 1.8 main camera with a pair of 2MP sensors – one macro and the other monochrome.

Finally, you get a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging support. It runs Android 11 out of the box.

Here are the full specs:

Realme 9

We haven’t seen many major leaks on the Realme 9, but The Economic Times in India reports various rumors that the new phone may have a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD + (2400 x 1080) resolution. The aspect ratio is 20: 9 and the pixel density is 405 ppi.

Processing will be handled by SoC MediaTek Helio G95 with 6 GB of memory and 64 GB of internal memory. Of course, as with the Realme 8, there will likely be multiple memory / storage configurations available.

In optics, we could see an array of four lenses, consisting of a 64MP main camera, joined by an 8MP ultra wide angle, 5MP macro and a 2MP depth camera. There will also be a 32MP selfie camera on the front, which suggests a hole in the display. You will also find a built-in fingerprint sensor here.

Realme 9 Pro

The 9 Pro is a more powerful beast and is expected to support 5G accordingly.

According to a report from 91mobiles and whistleblower Mukul Sharma, it will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 or Dimensity 920 chipset, and the TUV certification points to a 5,000mAh battery. Unfortunately, in addition to this, several other specifications are known.

Realme 9 Pro +

We know a little more about the 9 Pro +. The same 91mobiles report predicts that it will also use the Dimensity 810 or Dimensity 920 chipset, but adds that we should expect a 6.5-inch FHD + display. Probably the same 5000mAh battery, but here with support for 65W fast charging.

For the Pro +, some camera specifications are also indicated: four rear cameras – 50MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP – and a 16MP selfie camera.

If Realme sticks to the rumored February release date, we’ll see soon if those specs prove to be accurate.
